Denver Estate Planning Attorney Steven R. Warden

Steven R. Warden,P.C.is located in the historic Uptown neighborhood in Denver, Colorado in a restored home built at the beginning of the last century.

The Firm provides affordable legal services in the areas of estate planning; estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning; estate and trust administration; income taxation; the administration of conservatorship and guardianships; elder law, and related law; and the organization and administration of nonprofit organizations and private foundations.

Mr. Warden, a native of Granby, Colorado, received his B.A.from Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska in 1977 and his J.D. from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver in 1980. He has been a member of the Colorado Bar since 1980. Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Warden was a partner in a boutique probate firm in Denver. Mr. Warden served as law clerk in the Denver Probate Court. He has been a lecturer at Metropolitan State College on "Probate, Decedents' Estates, Wills & Trusts" and taught the Colorado Trust Course in 1992-93. Mr. Warden is a frequent lecturer for continuing education seminars for attorneys and paralegals.

Mr. Warden is a member of the Probate and Trust Section of the Colorado Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association, for which he served as Vice Chair of the Committee on Special Problems of Guardians and Conservators. Mr. Warden is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and specializes in elder law. He is a past President of the Board of Directors of Seniors, Inc., a nonprofit agency benefiting senior citizens. Mr. Warden was a member of the Mile High United Way Planned Giving Committee and is an active member of the Denver Tech Center Rotary Club.
